I started skating at nine years old at a promotion for the rink. On New Year’s Eve day, I took my BFF skating, and I got my first pair of skates. They were DBX, but DBX are not as good as Riedell. They were also bought used, the rink’s way of saving money and time. The Riedell skates I got are very light and the blades run very light across the ice, and it’s easier to stop now. I love my Riedell skates!
