The Olympic figure skating events will be held in Sochi’s Iceberg Skating Palace, which is not only a world-class modern athletic facility, but also a beautiful work of art with its smooth, curving lines that are modeled off of the trajectory of a figure skater performing a triple axel! The 12,000-seat venue was home to the ISU Figure Skating Grand Prix Final in December 2012 and competitors and fans at the event praised the new facility!
