Results from the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships and Upcoming Events

Last week we previewed the 30th anniversary of the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs. The results are in and Riedell’s Miami University Synchronized Team and Team Braemar both finished strong!

Team Braemar and Miami University placed 7th and 8th respectively in the junior championship event. Miami University also placed 4th in the senior championship and deserve special congratulations for winning their 10th straight gold medal in collegiate championships! Way to go everyone! But wait, there’s more!

The World Figure Skating Championships are upon us, with three separate events taking place worldwide throughout the month of March and into April:

March 10-16: 2014 World Junior Figure Skating Championships,  Sofia, Bulgaria

March 26-30: 2014 World Figure Skating Championships, Saitama, Japan

April 3-5: 2014 World Synchronized Skating Championships, Courymayeur, Italy

Over the course of the next several weeks, Adult Sectionals will be held across the United States. These events will lead up to the 20th anniversary of the U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships, in which 600 skaters are expected to compete!

April 8-12: 2014 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships,  Hyannis, Massachusetts
