The 2014-2015 season has been full of amazing performances. Some of our skaters (also known as #TeamRiedell) have risen to the top of their class—and we’re proud to say they will be on center stage next week at the 2015 World Figure Skating Championships! Let’s take a look at who to keep an eye on:

Elena Radionova has taken the skating world by storm. She’s the first ladies skater in history to win two World Junior Championship titles (2013 & 2014). Now, in her first season at the senior level, she has recorded 1st place finishes at the 2014 Japan Open, 2014 Skate America, 2014 Trophée Éric Bompard and 2015 Russian Championships. She also finished 2nd at the 2014-15 Grand Prix Final and 2015 European Champions. Elena is coached by Inna Goncharenko and skates in the 2010 Fusion boot. Don’t even blink when she takes the ice next week!

Joshua Farris has become one of the top skaters in the Men’s category. His accomplishments include a 2nd place finish at the 2015 Four Continents Championships and a 3rd place finish at this year’s U.S. Nationals. He sports the Custom 2010 Fusion boot and is coached by Damon Allen and Christy Krall. He will look to build off his recent success and carry that momentum into Worlds!

Haven Denney & Brandon Frazier have been receiving impressive accolades as a duo in the Pairs category. They finished 2nd at this year’s U.S. Nationals as well as 2014 Skate America. They also finished 7th at the 2015 Four Continents Championships. Brandon sports Eclipse Infinity blades while Haven uses the Custom 1375 Gold Star. They’re coached by John Zimmerman and Silvia Fontana.

Other talented Riedell skaters heating up the ice include:

Brookelee Han represents Australia in the Ladies category and has had several notable performances. She skated to 1st place finishes at the 2013 Australian Championships and the 2013 Volvo Open Cup, as well as appearances at the 2014 Winter Olympics and the 2015 Four Continents Championships. She wears Custom 1375 Gold Star boots and is coached by Serhii Vaypan.

Paul Poirier and his partner, Piper Gilles, have been consistently exceptional in the Dance category. They skated to 2nd place finishes at 2014 Skate Canada, 2014 Trophée Éric Bompard and this year’s Canadian Nationals. They also finished 4th at the 2015 Four Continents Championships. Paul skates in Custom 2010 Fusion boots and is coached by the team of Carol Lane, Juris Razgulajevs, Jon Lane and Roy Bradshaw.

Worlds begin next week, March 23-29, in Shanghai. Check out icenetwork.com for a complete schedule of events—and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates on all things Riedell!
