Help Us Celebrate National Skating Month!

It’s that time of year again! Competition season is in full swing, and with the 2015 U.S. Figure Skating Championships just around the corner, what better time for National Skating Month?

U.S. Figure Skating describes this nod to our favorite sport as “an opportunity for rinks, member clubs and programs to celebrate skating, invite new families to try ice skating by offering free lessons, conducing demonstrations and promote skating with your local media outlets.” Of course we couldn’t wait to see what everyone is talking about on social media. Check out the hashtag #NSM2015 for some fun photos—and don’t forget to find an event near you with this helpful list.

The theme of this year’s National Skating Month is “Skating is for Everyone!” We couldn’t agree more. That’s why we encourage all of our skaters to share their stories and be part of our community.
