I started skating when I was 6. When I saw the ice, I knew skating was what I wanted to do. When I got my first pair of Riedell skates, they were a lot stiffer than my first other pair. But since I broke them in, they have been the best! I am now in Freestyle 4, ISI.

I have been skating for about 8 or 9 years. I remember when I started in Riedell skates they were a lot harder to break in. Just like any other skater I HATE breaking in new skates! But once they were broken in they were amazing! About 4 years ago problems with my foot required that I get Custom skates. Riedell has helped me so much. I now have skates that fit my feet and don’t cause any problems. The people at Riedell are always there if something goes wrong and help figure out the best thing to do. With the help of my Riedell skates, I am now getting ready to test for Freestyle 6 in ISI. Thank you Riedell for being such a help with my skates!

I have been skating for a year, and I’m in Freeskate 2. Even though I have recreational skates, they still stay sturdy (unlike other brands). I will be getting the 255 TS skates soon.  I will ALWAYS have Riedell!

Well, I started skating when I was 9 years old and I immediately feel in love with it. That’s when I told my mom, “I want to start skating,” so she got me my first pair of figure skates. Right now I am in my fourth pair of Riedells, and I have been skating for only 3 years and I have passed my ISI Freestyle 6 test!!!!

I’m 41 and tried ice skating for the first time on June 7, 2010. I fell in love immediately. I bought my first pair of Riedells July 24th. I can’t wait to see where they take me.

My first pair of Riedell boots was for beginning skaters and they were fabulous for my first couple of years, until I advanced to the Delta level. Then, I passed Delta and Gamma at the same time and became a Freestyle level skater. My skates weren’t doing the best job, so we started looking at other Riedell models and Jackson skates. Riedell fit better so it was an easy choice: Riedell. Then we started asking pro shop dealers.

My friend had Riedell boots and she said they hurt for 6 weeks so I got scared. But I went to University of Delaware to be fitted and found I fit in the same size as the previous year. During the fitting, I had to stand without bending my knees for ten minutes in my skates and my legs started to burn. But when I skated at the Gold Arena the boots and blades felt a lot different and they didn’t hurt at all. Thank you so much for support, comfort, style, and quality in your boots and blades.

Before my current skates, I bought my first pair from…a thrift store. I started Basic 3 in March of this year with those skates. I noticed while doing three turns, my feet were extremely pronated and floppy overall. I kept slipping. So a week before the test, I bought Riedell 133’s. I skated in them one day before the test, just to get the feel (I didn’t have time to skate again). They hurt but not too badly. The next day was the test. I did the two turns and my feet didn’t flop, and my ankles were perfectly stable! AND I passed the test. I’m now going on to Basic 7 in the winter. Thanks Riedell!

I began ice skating at the beginning of this year. I just recently bought my first pair of figure skates, and they are awesome. They have really improved my skating. I hope that one day I can go to figure skating competitions in some Riedell skates, and hopefully win the gold. I am now in Novice and hope that my Riedells help me make it up to Intermediate. I love you Riedell. Thank you so much for improving my skating and making me a much happier skater. -Maddie :)

When I was 4 my mom and dad bought me my first pair of Riedell skates. Since then and with every pair, I have had a world of success. I was featured on the cover of 201 Magazine in them and went on to win gold at: 100 years of Hershey, South Atlantic Regionals, U.S. Games in Colorado, and most recently, The Kristen Hausperg Trophy. I am now 9 and my Riedells have helped me pass all of my moves tests up to Novice, and all Freestyle up to Juvenile. I love my Riedells… Thanks Riedell, for bringing out the best skater in mee –Alexa

SamanthaLike most skaters, I think breaking in new skates is extremely difficult. A couple of years ago, I had a bad experience breaking in new boots. They suddenly gave me multiple foot problems and held back my training. Stephanie at Edgewise in Kansas City suggested that I try Riedell skates. I was a little hesitant at first at the idea of breaking in ANOTHER pair of boots, but now I have no regrets! My new Riedell boots not only made my feet feel better from the distress caused by my last boots, but my feet were more comfortable than ever! Riedells are (by far!) the easiest pair of skates that I have ever broken in during the 14 years of my skating career. I am so thankful to Stephanie and Riedell for all their help!
