Did you know you can customize your Riedell boots for performance, fit and style? From full custom to one or two changes, if you can dream it, we can build it! We know that not all feet are created equal, or even the same size. If you have a special foot issue, we can help. Orthotics, arches, toe room, heel spurs, foot irregularities, bunions—you name it, we’ll customize for it!
Is custom for me?
Riedell craftsmen will build your boot from the bottom up, hand-cutting materials according to exact measurements so your skates fit your foot perfectly. Not everyone wants or needs a full custom skate. Just as you would customize your smartphone to keep your favorite apps in one place or customize your frozen yogurt for the best toppings in every bite, there are small changes you can make to your Riedell boots to make them the perfect fit and style for you.
You can create a Premium or Special-built boot by first selecting the stock boot of your choice—anything from the 3030 Aria to the 229 Edge. Then choose color, leather temper, firmness, heel height, materials and much more. Riedell offers vibrant colors like ultra blue and more subtle tones like sandal. Graphic prints like leopard are also options. These upgrades are more affordable than you may think.

The modification you are looking to have in a boot (no heel, squared or rounded toe shape) would require a complete custom built skate as we will need to alter the design and shape of the last, modify the patterns to fit accordingly and design he outsole to fit the last.

Hi,
The ‘premium’ boot option, I have a few questions on. I need an artistic boot with firm ankle support. I understand this is not a full custom boot. That said, if I wanted or required these options on one of the stock boots: combination width(EE/B), no heel, and a square or round toe box that does not taper inward to a point is this possible? I cannot wear heels now due to achilles tendon problems, and I cannot skate comfortably if the big toe is forced inward, even very slightly. Think birkenstocks. that is what I wear! I cannot negotiate these items.
Do you have a boot or last that has a squared toe box or at least truly rounded like the Harlick X-line? I have never seen one in Riedell artistic boots.
why not harlick then? Never heard that anyone got what they ordered from them! same for most other custom boot makers! some skaters are happy with the riedell’s options though.
